Making Communities Friendly for Aging in Place

ForHealth Consulting’s Pamela MacLeod, MBA, PMP, Senior Project Director for the Massachusetts Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Disease and All Other Dementias as well as the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, co-authored an article for “Massachusetts Planning,” the American Planning Association Massachusetts Chapter’s Spring 2023 publication, titled, “Making Communities Friendly for Aging in Place: The Important Role of Planning and Design.”

The article was published in the magazine for municipal and regional planners across Massachusetts and focuses on what the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Council is working on. Pamela co-authored the piece with James Fuccione, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative (MHAC), and Patty Sullivan, Program Director of the Dementia Friendly Massachusetts (DFM) program at the Massachusetts Councils on Aging.
