As managing director of digital solutions at ForHealth Consulting, Brent Antony leads the design, development, implementation, and operations of the technology solutions supporting the firm’s initiatives. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare operations and technology, he brings deep expertise in clinical, financial, and administrative functions across payer, provider, and government healthcare organizations.
Prior to joining ForHealth Consulting, Brent served as vice president at Optum Advisory, part of UnitedHealth Group, where he led operations transformation consulting for payer clients, including extensive work with commercial health plans across Medicare Advantage, managed Medicaid, and employee and individual plans. In this role, he was responsible for practice and business development, project delivery, and managing client relationships. Brent also led the Optum team that helped relaunch the Massachusetts Health Connector insurance exchange website.
Brent spent eight years as the chief information officer for Tennessee’s Division of Health Care Finance and Administration, overseeing Medicaid technology and operations for the Bureau of TennCare—Tennessee’s managed care Medicaid program. Earlier in his career, he held senior information technology roles at leading institutions such as Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Boston Children’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, CRICO/RMF, and Sapient.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University with a bachelor of business administration degree, Brent also holds a master of public health and a master of business administration in health systems management from Tulane University.
