Members of Commonwealth Medicine’s clinical pharmacy services team recently volunteered at the Community Harvest Project, harvesting over 3,000 pounds of fresh vegetables, amounting to 18,830 meals for individuals in need of healthy and nutritious meals in Massachusetts.
The staff brought along family members and friends, for a total of 40 people, to help pick produce at the non-profit farm located in Grafton MA. Leliz Cedrone, supervisor for Pharmacy Operations, said she “highly recommended it for team building, especially while a lot of us have been and continue to work remotely.” Senior Product Owner for UMass Medical School IT, Scott Rodgers, is a team leader at the Community Harvest Project and helped to organize the trip. Take a look at some of the photos of our great volunteers below!
