Survey Research
To better serve clients, organizations need to understand client experience and identify strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, they also want to know more about their workforce, including motivators and barriers, to improve recruitment and retention. Our survey research experts develop reliable and meaningful insights that can empower programs to deliver better care.

Our Impact
Survey Outcomes That Matter
Using mixed methods, we helped a healthcare foundation assess the need for a behavioral health consultation program and the services and features to be included so that primary care providers (PCPs) could best support patients with behavioral health needs. By using these evidence-based insights, the foundation can design programs for PCPs to care for their patients’ behavioral health needs without gaps in service.
Since 2018, we’ve helped a state network of 12 federally qualified health centers measure patient experience to maintain its Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). By tracking results over time, we’ve helped the network understand and improve patient experience and satisfaction.
To help improve access to services at community health centers, we’ve engaged in a survey research program to assess the motivators and barriers to working at community health centers. The series of studies have yielded actionable insights into recruitment and retention of the dental, behavioral health, advanced practice provider, and nursing workforce at community health centers.
