As the entity chief quality officer, Maureen Mulkerrin leads ForHealth Consulting’s quality strategy and healthcare operations oversight, ensuring that products, services, and processes meet the highest standards while driving continuous improvement across the organization. She is responsible for advancing operational quality, performance measurement, patient safety initiatives, and the internal controls that support high-quality care delivery.
With more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, Maureen brings deep expertise spanning operations, quality, patient safety, compliance, and clinical informatics. She has held a range of executive leadership roles in both teaching and community hospital settings as vice president and chief quality officer, as well as chief compliance officer, chief information officer, and interim chief nursing officer.
A recognized thought leader in healthcare quality and patient safety, Maureen is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and has published articles in a variety of industry journals, including the Orthopedic Clinics of North America and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Maureen received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in management from Emmanuel College in Boston. She is certified as a healthcare chief information officer by the College of Health Care Information Management Executives and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
